CĂRĂBAŞ, LUNGU – Lawyer Company

Social responsibility

For us, corporate responsibility represents the materialization of our promise towards the community in which we profess. We consider that it is not enough to believe in a better world, but to act towards change.

We are actively involved in the social activities of the Romanian Association for Responsibility, Education and Social Support (ARRESS), in the educational activities of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA), as well as in continuous training and professional development of our future colleagues through the Lawyr.it project and through direct involvement in the formal educational system, as active representatives in the teaching staff of the Faculty of Law of the Babeş-Bolyai University.

We support

ELSA

The European Law Students` Association (ELSA) was founded in 1981 by law students from Austria, Germany, Poland and Hungary, being the largest international organization of law students and young lawyers. Currently, ELSA exists in over 35 European countries, in more than 200 universities, bringing together more than 30,000 members.
ELSA Cluj-Napoca is the third structural level of the organization, after ELSA International and ELSA Romania, and operates at the Faculty of Law at Babeş-Bolyai University, having had legal personality in April 2001.

LAWYR.IT

Lawyr.it is a written legal magazine, completely edited by students and contains articles and sections to answer to the students’ needs. It is part of a larger project, launched in Central and Eastern Europe and plans to build both a students’ and law graduates’ network and an informational network, which can enable their recruitment by potential employers.

ARRESS

The Romanian Association for Responsibility, Education and Social Support was founded in March 2011, being included in the category of non-profit and non-governmental organizations.

”The profit” that ARRESS presents is fully proven by the purpose for which it was created. The initiative belongs to a group of young people – founding members – who acknowledged the need to develop a society in the field of responsibility, in general, and social responsibility, in particular. These dual goals are reflected in the social support which can and has to be given and accomplishing this is only possible through the contribution to strategies of suitable education.
